Back to Taipan on the 26th of January after two and a half months in Australia, and settled back into boat life. That cycle of fitting new parts from Australia and repairing the odd pump etc. we were just making plans to head out to Durban when we got the word that David's Mum, our trusty crew member, has passed peacefully away at the farm, surrounded by family. At 89 years she has lived a full, happy and adventurous life and we are returning again to Perth to bid her farewell.
