Well we finally made it to South Africa. The diversion to Mozambique was unnecessary as the weather improved during the passage and we were able to go direct to Richards Bay. We arrived at about 10pm in a very well lit and calm small boat harbour. Prior to arrival we were required to call on VHF Ch 12 to Port Control to get permission to enter the harbour. No problems we went straight in.
Officials visited Taipan during the next day and we were formally into South Africa.
On Wednesday the Tuzi Gazi Marina found us a berth so we can leave Taipan and return to Australia.
